GFWC-OK Waurika Sorosis Club participated in the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) National Day of Service this past weekend. They organized a fundraiser for the Jefferson County Food Pantry and the Waurika Senior Citizen’s center in conjunction with both centers and the Waurika Volunteer Fire Department. The event raised almost $7,000 for the two organizations and served 225 meals to local residents. #gfwc_hq #gfwc23nds #endhunger. 19 of our 38 members showed up for the event.
