GFWC-OK Duncan Philomathic Club had 15 members present at their March club meeting.
GFWC-OK Duncan Philomathic Club had a GFWC Information event as their March club meeting. GFWC-OK Vice President, Monica Bartling, visited with the club about the impact that GFWC member clubs have across Oklahoma; updated members on the changes in district boundaries for former South Central region; and talked about upcoming meetings. The meetings include the state convention the first weekend in April in Chickasha, International convention in Chicago on June 28-July 1, the Southwest/Central district meeting in September in Cheyenne and the South Central Region meeting in OKC October 10 & 11.
Bartling also talked about environmental projects and the potential of including the club in Color Oklahoma’s wildflower planting project that includes other clubs and municipalities along Hwy 81.
