Posted by Two additional GFWC-Oklahoma clubs participated in the GFWC National Day of Service on September 30. Some of our clubs support food and hunger awareness programs throughout the club year.
Haskell P-A-Linn Club donated 15 pounds of food to the Haskell Food Pantry and donated $500 to school feeding programs through their Back Packs for Kids program that provides food for school-age children each week. They worked 100 volunteer hours on both programs.
The Perry Ladies Tuesday Afternoon Club also participated in the National Day of Service with their ongoing programs to support and supply food to the local food pantry.
