The high temperatures in Oklahoma dictate Clubwomen perform quick and effective volunteer projects. GFWC OK McAlester Fortnightly Literary Department, coached by GFWC Booster Jim Sellmeyer, applied sealant on the WHITE BUFFALO painted mural created by Evan Smith Art. This project was done in honor of GFWC McAlester Fortnightly President, Brenda Calahan.
Calahan was recently appointed Arts and Culture Chair for GFWC Oklahoma.
This project is performed in tandem with the “Keep McAlester Beautiful” organization, organized by Director, Megan Waters who schedules volunteers to perform the upkeep of all painted murals within McAlester.
